Université Côte d’Azur is one of 44 winners of the Ministry of Higher Education and Research’s ASDESR call for projects to accelerate higher education institution development strategies. With more than 2 million euros in funding, the goal is to roll out an ambitious university-wide project designed to strengthen its presence in Europe.
This project is in line with the truly European vision and commitment of the University which, since 2016, has been developing an ambitious and pragmatic strategy, notably through the Initiative of Excellence Université Côte d'Azur, to enable the scientific community to take advantage of the various opportunities offered by the European Commission's Research and Innovation Program.
Four complementary project objectives :
Objective 1: Improve monitoring, identification and ranking services so that the scientific community can more systematically take advantage of the opportunities offered by the European Commission.
Objective 2: Strengthen information and awareness-raising actions to acculturate the scientific community to Europe and demystify its complexity.
Objective 3: Encourage researchers to "dare Europe", in particular by improving the quality of support services
Objective 4: Greater recognition of commitment to Europe
With the European Ulysseus Alliance at its heart, this strategy will enable the University to raise its profile in Europe and internationally.
Several actions already implemented locally have strengthened the University's presence in major initiatives, such as the EIT Cultural and Creative Industries, the COFUND BoostUrCAreer and the European Digital Innovation Hub Move2Digital, as well as promoting scientific excellence through personalized support for ERC applications and increased participation in Horizon Europe projects, including as coordinator.
The project will therefore boost this positive momentum by improving overall services to the community.
