Université Côte d'Azur has joined forces with the Nice Côte d'Azur Chamber of Commerce and Industry in singing the Small Business Act that improves access for SMEs to public contracts. The charter was signed on the sidelines of the IBT - Industrie Batiment Tech trade show held at the Allianz Riviera in Nice on October 12.

As part of the Recovery Plan launched in response to the pandemic, the French government has decided to direct a large part of the approved funds toward local authorities, reinforcing their key role in the local economic recovery. Through its Industry Commission, the Nice Côte d'Azur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCINCA) has put forward 22 proposals, approved by industrial companies, in line with the rules applicable to public procurement, for the purpose of producing a "Small Business Act 06".

This commitment provides VSEs and SMEs with simplified access to public procurement and offers them support and contacts with economic operators of all sectors.

A commitment in favor of the economy and employment

On October 12, Université Côte d'Azur joined 15 other signatories to the CCI's Small Business Act 06. This demonstrates the university’s resolve to support the department's VSEs and SMEs by improving their access to public procurement, and its commitment in favor of the Alpes-Maritimes economy and employment. Romain Dujardin, Director of Information Systems, signed the charter on behalf of Université Côte d'Azur.
