MARS-AUX-MUSE-ES-40X60-1024x1536 - Équipe Mars aux Musées

From March 08 to 30, 2025, come and (re)discover Nice's museums through a quirky, innovative and daring program, thanks to this cultural festival organized by Université Côte d'Azur students and the City of Nice!

For its 24th edition, the Mars aux Musées festival takes up the theme of "Atlantis". The program, put together by students from the Université Côte d'Azur's Master's program in Event Management, Mediation and Cultural Engineering (EMIC), gives you a new perspective on the museums of Nice. Azur' s master's degree in Event Management, Mediation and Cultural Engineering (EMIC), you'll rediscover 5 of Nice's museums from a new angle, as they become the stage for a variety of bold and innovative cultural events. The program echoes the Year of the Sea in the context of the 3rd United Nations Conference on the Ocean, scheduled to take place in Nice from June 9 to 13, 2025, through the myth of Atlantis, popularized by the philosopher Plato.

5 Museums to (re)discover!

  1. Musée d'Archéologie de Nice-Cimiez: King Atlas, an artistic and historical reflection,
  2. The Terra Amata Museum of Prehistory : the relationship between the sea god Poseidon and the first civilizations,
  3. The Museum of Natural History: the customs and lifestyles of the Atlantean people,
  4. The Musée National Marc Chagall : a poetic journey inspired by Plato's tales, guided by the narrator Critias,
  5. Musée International d'Art Naïf Anatole Jakovsky: a rereading of mythical creatures symbolized by Queen Antinéa.
