On Friday, December 12, 2025, the university community gathered at the Théâtre du Grand Château on the Valrose Campus for an emotional ceremony filled with recognition. The event honored staff members who had recently been appointed to the Order of Academic Palms, one of the most prestigious civilian distinctions in France.
Attended by Jeanick Brisswalter, President of Université Côte d’Azur, this ceremony recognized members of the university community for their exemplary commitment to public service in education and their significant contribution to the university's reputation.
A moment of recognition and conviviality
During the event, the recipients received their insignia as knights or officers, as well as their diplomas, in a solemn and warm atmosphere. The ceremony was followed by a cocktail reception held in the Grand Château dining room, providing an opportunity for participants to socialize and exchange ideas.
