Because academic success begins with a student’s very first steps at the university and continues throughout their academic journey, Université Côte d’Azur will roll out a new Student Success Support Ecosystem (ARE) at the start of the 2026 academic year, designed for its 13,200 undergraduate students,

The ARE program offers more personalized support, tailored to the needs of each student’s academic journey.
From orientation upon entering college to developing academic and career plans, this program enables every student to find the resources and contacts they need to move forward on their path.

A New Ecosystem to Personalize Support for All Academic Pathways

Launched at the start of the 2026 academic year, the Student Success Support Ecosystem (ARE) renews and expands the “OuiSi” program, created in 2018. Its goal is to support students throughout their three-year bachelor’s degree program, taking greater account of the diversity of their backgrounds, needs, and plans. The ARE relies on several complementary components:
  • welcome and orientation at the start of the academic year,
  • early assessment of knowledge,
  • academic support and tutoring,
  • career guidance and personalized academic pathways.

Remedial instruction may be offered as early as the first few weeks to reinforce certain skills and provide everyone with the best possible conditions for success.

The program also allows for better consideration of special circumstances and changes in academic paths, thanks to greater flexibility: specific student statuses, enrollment during the school year, or recognition of prior learning. The goal is to provide support tailored as closely as possible to individual needs, rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.

Student Success Offices Close to Students

This commitment to support is also reflected in very concrete ways on campus through the Student Success Offices . Open year-round, these offices serve as resource centers where students can meet with Student Success Advisors (CARE) for one-on-one consultations and advice tailored to their individual situations.

Whether it’s choosing or changing a major, developing study habits, continuing their education, planning a career, finding an internship or work-study program, or preparing an application—the CARE advisors support students through every stage of their academic journey. Group workshops complement this support to help students develop skills useful for their studies and entry into the workforce.
And there’s no need to wait until you’re facing a challenge to walk through the doors of a Student Success Office: a question, a project, or simply the desire to gain clarity can be the starting point for support.

Empowering Everyone to Succeed

Through the ARE ecosystem and the Student Success Offices, Université Côte d’Azur makes support an integral part of the academic experience. By increasing the visibility of these resources and offering continuous, personalized support, the University pursues a key objective: to give every student the tools to shape their own path and succeed, regardless of their background, academic history, or future plans.
