The MED’INNOV consortium, led by Université Côte d’Azur and bringing together the main players in research, innovation, and technology transfer in the Corsica-Côte d’Azur region, has successfully completed a first key milestone in its application for the Carnot 2026 label.
This achievement reflects the quality of the collaborative research conducted in the Corsica-Côte d'Azur region and the collective effort underway to accelerate the transfer of research results to the socio-economic sector.
Awarded to research institutions recognized for their ability to develop sustainable partnerships with businesses, the Carnot label is one of the national benchmarks for collaborative research and technology transfer. It recognizes both scientific excellence and the ability to transform research results into innovations that create value for economic stakeholders.
This selection marks a significant acknowledgment of the work undertaken over the past several years to structure and strengthen collaborative research in the service of innovation. It confirms the relevance of the strategy championed by Université Côte d’Azur through the University Innovation Hub.
Continuing the Carnot application process now presents a new opportunity to demonstrate the consortium’s ability to further amplify the impact of public research on economic development and innovation, for the benefit of the region and its partners.
