Jazz à Valrose is thinking big and expanding into a three-day festival! From June 4 to 6, 2026, the Valrose campus will be transformed into a true open-air stage to celebrate jazz in all its forms. Be sure to reserve your tickets now.
Distinguished guests
The Jazz à Valrose festival welcomes a new generation of talent:
American saxophonist Isaiah Collier, a rising star of contemporary jazz;
double bassist and singer Amy Gadiaga, often hailed as one of the future great voices of European jazz;
saxophonist Rick Margitza, known for having played alongside Miles Davis.
The festival kicks off with an open-air screening of the cult film *Jazz On A Summer’s Day* , directed by Bert Stern, which chronicles the legendary Newport Festival (1958) featuring Louis Armstrong, Mahalia Jackson, Anita O’Day, Thelonious Monk, and many others.
Throughout the evenings, you’ll also enjoy:
The Conservatory Big Band will also perform a set.
The Aix-Marseille University Big Band.
The UniCA Jazz Band, the new marching band of Université Côte d’Azur, as well as several DJ sets to liven up the evenings.
A festival open to everyone
Jazz à Valrose is designed as a shared experience accessible to everyone. Families and young audiences can enjoy creative workshops led by the La Semeuse association, including making lanterns to light up the park. For a friendly atmosphere, the festival features a bar area with the Brasserie d’Aqui and a more diverse selection of food trucks than ever before.
