Campus Grasse
A resounding success since its creation in Nice in 2003, and despite an interruption in 2021 due to the pandemic, the Journée Arômes et Parfums is a biannual event traditionally held at the heart of the Université Côte d'Azur's magnificent Chateau Valrose site. This 10th Journée Arômes et Parfums will be held exceptionally in Grasse at the Palais des Congrès on June 13 to mark this anniversary, and will provide an opportunity for discussions and new collaborations around the challenges facing the sector.
During the day, international speakers present plenary lectures on the extraction and analysis of natural substances, the synthesis of innovative fragrance molecules, biotechnologies, the perception of aromas and the various aspects of perfumery creation and the major challenges facing the flavors, fragrances and cosmetics sector.of innovative fragrance molecules, biotechnologies, aroma perception, the various aspects of perfumery creation and the major challenges facing the flavors, fragrances and cosmetics sector.Guest lectures by academic and industrial speakers, and oral presentations by our doctoral and post-doctoral students complete the program.

The "sciences of odorants" theme developed at the Institut de Chimie de Nice is strongly supported by the Université Côte d'Azur. The Institut d'Innovation et de Partenariats Arômes Parfums Cosmétiques, set up in Grasse to work closely with companies, is one of the ways in which this theme has been developed.It provides the missing link between university and industry, with the engineering capacity to respond rapidly and effectively to R&D requests.
