Université Côte d'Azur offers social support for students in precarious situations.
Concerned about the living and studying conditions of its students, Université Côte d'Azur has put in place a number of measures to help the most precarious among them.
Students in financial or social difficulty are supported and monitored by the University's social workers.
Emergency accommodation is also provided under an agreement with a youth hostel for students in situations of family or social breakdown.
Laptop loans: this scheme, set up as an emergency measure during the COVID pandemic, has been maintained and provides students with a laptop for their studies.
Setting up solidarity fridges: the aim of this scheme is to combat food insecurity, the destruction of food products that have not yet expired, and social isolation, in partnership with the CROUS, which is the only body authorized to deposit foodstuffs. Set up on the Cannes campus, these solidarity fridges are to be deployed on other campuses.
Solidarity dressings will also be organized throughout the year, thanks to the support of the center and student associations.
