The Institut de Chimie de Nice (Université Côte d'Azur, CNRS) has collaborated with the European Space Agency (ESA) to develop composites made entirely from biobased materials from sustainable sources for the space industry. The cooperative project takes the form of a co-sponsored PhD and post-doctoral research.

"The collaboration with ESA has been very fruitful. We brought together a wide range of different skills and expertise, which resulted in a really creative and constructive collaboration and a great human exchange." Alice Mija from Institut de Chimie de Nice (ICN)
