Université Côte d'Azur is an active participant in the European Erasmus+ CULT (Culture and Technology) project. Coordinated by the University of Camerino in Italy, this two-year project begins in 2025 and is co-financed by the European Commission's Erasmus+ program.

This partnership brings together eight institutions from five European countries (Italy, Albania, Croatia, France and Spain). The partners represent institutional, university, training, consultancy and research networks, all mobilized around a common goal: to foster innovative convergence between culture and technology.

The STEAM approach to higher education and diversity

The CULT project aims to integrate technological and artistic-cultural knowledge into European higher education by adopting the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) approach. This initiative responds to the growing importance of digital technologies in the enhancement and management of cultural assets.
One of the main thrusts of the project is to facilitate the access and integration of women from humanities backgrounds into STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) fields, thereby helping to strengthen the diversity of profiles in technology sectors.

Through this participation, Université Côte d'Azur reaffirms its commitment to pedagogical innovation, multidisciplinarity and the promotion of equal opportunities in higher education.
