ISART Digital becomes an associate of Université Côte d'Azur

At its meeting on Thursday July 17, 2025, the Board of Directors of Université Côte d'Azur approved the signature of a framework association agreement with ISART Digital, a leading school in the fields of video games, 3D animation and sound design. This agreement marks ISART Digital's entry into the Université Côte d'Azur community of associate institutions.

Based in Nice since September 2023, ISART Digital has rapidly become an integral part of the Côte d'Azur's academic and scientific ecosystem. Its involvement in structuring projects such as the Fédération des Industries Culturelles et Créatives pour un Territoire de l'Innovation et de l'Orientation - FICCTION, or its active collaborations with the Cognition Behaviour Technology - CoBTeKand the Laboratoire Etude des Structures, des Processus d'Adaptation et des Changements de l'Espace - ESPACElaboratories have enabled us to forge strong links with Université Côte d'Azur teams, in both training and research.

With this association agreement, Université Côte d'Azur and ISART Digital are committed to strengthening their cooperation around several strategic axes:
  • the development of cross-disciplinary and innovative training programs (joint masters, selective courses, double degrees),
  • participation in joint research projects (mental health, digital twins, XR, interactive urban planning),
  • shared services for student life and access to university infrastructures,
  • shared governance, with a reciprocal presence on the key bodies of both institutions.
This merger is in line with the strategy of transformation and openness of Université Côte d'Azur, a major institution and leader in higher education, research and innovation on the Côte d'Azur. It also confirms our shared commitment to supporting the cultural and creative industries, which are the region's high-potential sectors of the future.
