On Tuesday November 04, Jeanick Brisswalter, President of Université Côte d'Azura, welcomed Laurent Hottiaux, Prefect of the Alpes-Maritimes, to the Château de Valrose for a moment of exchange and sharing around common ambitions.
During the meeting, the Prefect and the President of the University discussed the important role and influence of the Université Côte d'Azur on a local and international scale. Topics discussed included
its internationally-recognized academic and scientific strengths : interdisciplinarity, academic excellence, focus on major contemporary issues;
its ambition for the region: to actively contribute to its attractiveness, economic development and sustainable transition.
its ability to bring together companies, local authorities, researchers, students and partners to develop concrete solutions for the region and beyond, for the Provence Alpes Côte d'Azur region and Europe.
The Prefect then visited theINPHYNI laboratory, a world reference in fundamental and applied physics, ranked in the TOP 200 of international research.
