French courses, language support, and cultural immersion: CUEFLE offers courses tailored to all levels to help you improve your French in an international academic setting.

The University Center for French as a Foreign Language Studies (CUEFLE) offers intensive French language courses for adult international students, ranging from beginner to advanced levels (A1 to C2). These courses take place on campus and are part of an academic program designed to prepare students for further studies in higher education in France. Upon completion of their program, students receive a Diploma in French as a Foreign Language, which they can present to universities to demonstrate their language proficiency. The courses are also certified under the “Études en France” program, which guarantees their international recognition and quality.

Who can enroll?

The programs are open to adult students of all levels. Applications are reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and if a visa is denied, the deposit is refunded.

Course Format

Each semester includes 195 hours of instruction spread over 13 weeks, with 15 hours of in-person classes per week plus 5 hours of guided self-study at the language resource center. This program allows students to develop their language skills while strengthening their oral practice in a supportive environment.
