Nucleate France UniCA
Nucleate France UniCA, the accelerator program supported by Université Côte d'Azur, confirms its pioneering position in supporting scientific entrepreneurship.
One year after its launch, this initiative - the only French branch of the international Nucleate network - continues to attract the attention of innovation and healthcare players. The recent appearance of Sophie Demolombe, Director of Nucleate France UniCA, on the BFM Business program Le Tête à Tête Décideurs, illustrates the growing recognition of the program and its impact on the Biotech and Medtech ecosystem.
A program at the crossroads of research and entrepreneurship
Created at Harvard Medical School in 2019, the Nucleate program has established itself as a global benchmark in the training and support of young researchers eager to transform their scientific discoveries into concrete innovations.
Since 2023, Université Côte d'Azur has been home to the first French branch, Nucleate France UniCA, supported by CNRS and the Life & Health Sciences University Research School.
Nucleate France UniCA creates an unprecedented bridge between academic research and the business world. It's a real catalyst for vocations and opportunities," emphasizes Sophie Demolombe.
An international innovation network anchored on the Côte d'Azur
Supported by the Université Côte d'Azur's Initiative d'Excellence, Nucleate France UniCA is part of an international dynamic - with over forty branches around the world - while contributing to the local development of a sustainable Biotech and Medtech ecosystem.
Initiatives such asthe Activator (intensive support from experts and mentors on life science projects), the Insight Series (monthly meetings with experts) and the Alternative Career Pathways (orientation towards the private sector) enable students and PhD candidates to discover concrete career opportunities outside the academic sphere.
Call for partners and patrons of innovation
On the strength of its first year of existence, Nucleate France UniCA aims to consolidate its actions and expand its network of public and private partners.Companies and institutions wishing to support the next generation of scientific innovators are invited to join this collective adventure, in the service of health and technological transition.
