With the start of the 2025 academic year just around the corner, Université Côte d'Azur is mobilizing its teams to provide enhanced support for new students and ensure their successful integration into its courses. From administrative welcome to campus discovery, the establishment is putting in place a series of structuring and innovative measures, reflecting its commitment to student success.

A simplified, supported registration process

From July 7, 2025, new students will be able to complete their administrative registration via a secure online platform. This process, preceded by payment of the Contribution à la Vie Étudiante et de Campus (CVEC), is designed to be efficient and accessible. Personalized assistance is offered via a dedicated portal, according to profile and course of study.

A back-to-school calendar structured by subject portals

To facilitate the transition to higher education, the University has defined a specific start date for each of the major course families. From the end of August, students are welcomed according to their discipline portal: Science and Technology, Economics and Management, Human and Social Sciences, Law, STAPS, Health Access, Literature, Languages, Arts and Communication... This phasing ensures better organization of teaching and a successful welcome on campus.

Digital tools designed to support university life

As soon as enrolment is confirmed, each student has access to his or her own personalized Intranet, a one-stop digital portal that centralizes timetables, messaging, teaching aids, certificates, a dematerialized student card, and more.
Among the University's flagship initiatives, the Student Passport occupies a central place, fully embodying the establishment's determination to promote a successful transition between secondary and higher education. This online welcome module, which is compulsory for first-time students, will be available on the Moodle teaching platform from July 25, 2025. It is designed to support students as they assimilate university codes: methodology, autonomy, digital tools, support services, etc.

Two webinars to inform and welcome

To reinforce its welcome program, Université Côte d'Azur is organizing two interactive webinars:

  • The "Ma Rentrée à UniCA" webinar, scheduled for August 27, 2025 at 6pm, gives the floor to students and teacher-researchers, to answer concrete questions from new arrivals. Relive the live webinar from early July

  • A second webinar, aimed specifically at international students, will be held on September 10, 2025, in collaboration with the International Incoming Support team, to help them settle in and integrate into the local university ecosystem.

A clearer understanding of the campuses to encourage local ownership

With a view to opening up the various university sites throughout the Côte d'Azur, the University is offering an immersive map and detailed presentations of itsof its 14 campuses (Nice, Cannes, Menton, Sophia Antipolis...), facilitating mobility and discovery for new students, as well as for local partners and players.
