On October 10, at the Théâtre du Grand Château de Valrose, Université Côte d'Azur officially welcomed its new class of doctoral students during a day dedicated to their integration and the discovery of the resources available to them throughout their career.
Around a hundred doctoral students took part in the event, marking the starting point of a scientific career in which each and every one of them contributes to advancing research, innovating and meeting the challenges of tomorrow.
The program was packed with opportunities and exchanges!
After a speech by the President of the University, Jeanick Brisswalter, part of the morning was devoted to the doctoral ecosystem and the promotion and support of research. This was followed by a round-table discussion with PhDs and doctoral students to hear their experiences. The various sessions were rich in discussion and continued with a convivial buffet. The day ended with a theatre-forum on moral harassment, followed by a presentation of the internal resources available to doctoral students, and more generally to Université Côte d'Azur students and staff.Many thanks to all the speakers and the organizing team for this highlight of our university.
