On Tuesday December 2, the Pasteur Campus (UFR Médecine) hosted the first official opening of the Pharmacy Department of the Faculty of Medicine/Health, recently installed on the campus.

This event marked an important step in the development of our healthcare training offering, illustrating the Faculty's determination to reinforce the excellence of its teaching, encourage pedagogical innovation and meet the region's growing need for pharmaceutical expertise.

Through this new department, the Faculty has reaffirmed its ambition to train highly qualified pharmacists, prepared for today's challenges: research, biological analyses, therapeutic innovation, patient support and drug safety.

The new academic year also underlined the Faculty's commitment to a multi-disciplinary approach in which future medical, pharmaceutical and scientific teams work together. In presenting this department, the Faculty wishes to highlight the human, ethical and societal dimensions at the heart of the pharmaceutical profession, and reaffirm its essential role in the service of public health and research.
