On March 5 and 12, EUR LIFE, the Valrose Science Student Union, and the Science & Society Department hosted high school students for Biology Study Immersion Days on the Valrose campus.

On March 5 and 12, 2025, the Valrose campus opened its doors to many high school students for the 2026 edition of the Biology Studies Immersion Days , organized by EUR LIFE , the Science and Society Department , and the Valrose Science Student Union .

During these exceptional and interactive days, dozens of high school seniors and students from the Cordées de la Réussite program came to discover the daily life of a biology and life sciences student on the Valrose campus. Over the two days, approximately 90 students explored the Valrose campus, attended a biology lecture in the auditorium with first-year students, enjoyed a CROUS meal on the park’s lawns, and toured the campus, from the library to the FabLab.

The schedule for these immersive days included:
  • Breakfast and presentation of biology programs with Olivier Deschaux
  • Lecture in the auditorium on invertebrates with Dimitri Garcia
  • Picnic in the Valrose Campus park
  • Meetings and discussions with the Valrose Student Union and student ambassadors from the third-year bachelor’s program
  • Tour of the Valrose campus led by the BDE, including a visit to the Fab Lab and the University Bio-Library

EUR LIFE would like to warmly thank the Valrose Student Union and all the speakers for their involvement in organizing these exceptional orientation days, and of course the high school students for their interest, motivation, and good spirits, hoping to see many of them next year in the lecture halls of the Valrose campus!
