Université Côte d'Azur and the Union des Industries et Métiers de la Métallurgie Côte d'Azur signed a partnership agreement on November 16, at the "Industriels engagés 2023" event in Grasse, with the aim of strengthening existing links between the two organizations through institutional cooperation based on the search for synergies.
Through this agreement, Université Côte d'Azur and UIMM Côte d'Azur intend to establish a partnership to facilitate direct contact between students and alumni, with Université Côte d'Azur to promote the professional integration of its young students and graduates, and UIMM Côte d'Azur members to recruit and promote industrial professions.
Promoting university training and employment opportunities
Under the terms of this agreement, Université Côte d'Azur undertakes to work in partnership with UIMM Côte d'Azur to promote its training offer to UIMM Côte d'Azur members.s to UIMM Côte d'Azur members, to integrate the employment opportunities offered by UIMM Côte d'Azur to students, and to encourage the integration of students into UIMM Côte d'Azur.students, and to promote the professional integration of young students by taking part in events such as forums and demonstrations (IBT Côte d'Azur 2023, Semaine de l'industrie, etc.), but also to raise awareness of UIMM Côte d'Azur professions among students.

Encouraging R&D and technology transfer
The two partners also want to work together to encourage the creation of innovation in priority application areas: such as industry 4.0, energy transition, robotics, automation, artificial intelligence, etc.
The partnership will support UIMM Côte d'Azur member companies by helping them to formalize their needs, with the support of Université Côte d'Azur's training components.Azur's training components, with the aim of fostering knowledge transfer and creating continuing education programs for industry professionals in conjunction with the university's research and innovation.
