The Campus Santé aims to bring together all medical and paramedical training programs on a single site in the Alpes-Maritimes region, located in Saint-Jean d'Angély in Nice. Through this fundraising campaign, Université Côte d'Azur Foundation aims to support a structuring project dedicated to training healthcare professionals, medical innovation, and major challenges in sustainable health, aging, and well-being.
The fundraising campaign, led by the Université Côte d’Azur Foundation, aims to support the creation of a modern and innovative learning environment, which is essential for providing excellent education. The funds raised will be used to support the provision of cutting-edge educational and medical technology, as well as the development of technical platforms and living labs dedicated to innovation in healthcare.
The future Health Campus will bring together training programs in medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, midwifery, physical therapy, speech therapy, nursing, and related specialties.
By promoting the pooling of skills and the breaking down of barriers between disciplines, the Health Campus will contribute directly to improving healthcare practices and the emergence of innovative solutions for the benefit of patients.
A strong initial commitment from the founding sponsors
The founders of the Université Côte d'Azur Foundation have already committed €100,000, the first step towards a fundraising goal of €1 million.
This mobilization of private sponsorship from Riviera Réalisation, Caisse d'Epargne Côte d'Azur, Audition Conseil, Groupe Transcan, Banque Populaire Méditerranée, Arfitec, and Groupe Ragni complements the public funding already secured.
The total cost of the Campus Santé project is €48 million, of which €32.6 million is financed by the State-Region Plan Contract, €5.4 million by the "Campus prometteur" projects, and €3 million by the City of Nice and the Alpes-Maritimes Department (excluding CPER).
"The Health Campus is a major project for our university and for the region. By supporting this fundraising campaign, donors are contributing directly to the training of tomorrow's healthcare professionals, to medical innovation, and to the improvement of healthcare pathways. It is a concrete commitment to sustainable health, based on the academic and scientific excellence of Université Côte d'Azur."
