The new scientific journal Ulysseus Young Explorers in Science (UYES) is launching its first call for submissions and invites high school students to submit their research papers and gain their first experience with scientific publication. Submission deadline: April 30, 2026.

To foster a passion for research and innovation starting in high school, Ulysseus European University is launching Ulysseus Young Explorers in Science (UYES), its new student-run scientific journal, and is issuing its first call for submissions.

Who can participate?
This international, peer-reviewed publication is aimed at high school students passionate about research, innovation, and academic writing. Its goal is to introduce young people to the research process and offer them the opportunity to publish their first scientific article, with the support of their teachers and the Ulysseus academic community.

The submission deadline for the first issue is April 30 , 2026 , and the inaugural issue will be published on June 30, 2026.
 

How to participate?
All articles undergo a peer-review process. Submissions received after the deadline will continue to be accepted on a rolling basis, and selected articles will be published directly on the journal’s website and subsequently included in future issues.

UYES welcomes contributions across a wide range of fields: technology , sustainability , health , engineering , social sciences , economics , and the humanities .
