Université Côte d'Azur confirms its excellence in international discipline rankings 2025

The disciplinary rankings of Shanghai (GRAS 2025) and Leiden (CWTS 2025) once again confirm the quality of research carried out at Université Côte d'Azur. The institution stands out in many disciplines, both in France and internationally.
Université Côte d'Azur scores highly in the 2025 edition of the Shanghai and Leiden rankings, two global benchmarks for scientific evaluation.
In the Shanghai disciplinary ranking (GRAS 2025), the university ranks in the world's Top 200 in mathematics, computer science & engineering, and in the Top 300 in physics, earth sciences, electrical engineering, biological sciences and management. Several disciplines also feature in the national Top 10.
The Leiden 2025 ranking highlights the high international profile of our researchers, with excellent results in terms of the proportion of most-cited publications, international collaborations and work in partnership with the socio-economic world. Several fields - life sciences, physical sciences and engineering, social sciences - rank in the Top 100 to Top 150 worldwide.
