To mark Europe Day, Université Côte d'Azur is highlighting the European InterMaths – Interdisciplinary Mathematics program, an Erasmus Mundus degree of excellence that combines applied mathematics, modeling, and life sciences.

Led by a consortium of five European universities—the University of L’Aquila, the Hamburg University of Technology, the Vienna University of Technology, the Autonomous University of Barcelona, and Université Côte d'Azur—this international master’s program trains students to address major challenges in health, biology, engineering, and industry through mathematics and numerical simulation .

At Université Côte d'Azur, the “math-bio” track places particular emphasis on biological and artificial neural networks, at the intersection of mathematics, artificial intelligence, and life sciences. Students benefit from a unique international curriculum , with study abroad opportunities at European partner universities and a learning environment strongly focused on research and innovation.

Recognized by the Erasmus Mundus label and renewed through 2029, InterMaths fully embodies the European drive for innovation, academic cooperation, and international outreach championed by Université Côte d'Azur.
