Université Côte d’Azur confirms its upward trajectory by establishing itself as the French institution that has risen the most, climbing 22 places between 2025 and 2026. This significant development reflects the growing strength of its academic and scientific strategy.
Published at the end of January, the QS Europe 2026 ranking places Université Côte d’Azur in 254th place in Europe out of 958 institutions ranked. This 22-place rise between 2025 and 2026 is the biggest increase recorded by a French institution over the period.
In Western Europe, Université Côte d'Azur ranks 87th out of 227 institutions, confirming its position among the most visible universities in this strategic area. Nationally, it ranks 15th out of 60 French institutions ranked, in a context of increased academic competition.
This result reflects the combined effects of actions taken in the areas of research, international attractiveness, relations with employers, and quality of education, criteria that are central to the QS methodology. It reinforces the trajectory undertaken by Université Côte d'Azur to strengthen its European and international influence, serving its students, faculty, and partners.
