Lucie Monticelli, Patrick Collombat, Thierry Passeron and Rachid Benhida are among the 100 inventors 2024, a list published by Le Point newspaper, highlighting the men and women who use science and basic research to change the world. The list was published on February 29, 2024.
On the initiative of Le Point, an exceptional jury has selected the 100 leading-edge teams whose research will change our lives. The rankings were published on February 29, and the awards were presented at the Paris-Saclay Summit on March 1, 2024.

Biotech category:
Patrick Collombat (DiogenX) of the Institut Biologie Valrose, whose ambition is to cure type 1 diabetes by regenerating insulin-producing cells.
Thierry Passeron (Centre Méditerranéen de Médecine Moléculaire) and Rachid Benhida (Institut de Chimie de Nice) who are exploring a new therapeutic strategy to boost immunotherapy.

Lucie Monticelli (Evolutive Agronomy) from Institut Sophia Agrobiotech, who breeds mites to create new crop protection solutions.
