A year of Quality in 2024 for the Institut Universitaire de Technologie Nice Côte d'Azur.

On Thursday January 18, 2024, IUT Director Pr. Boualem Aliouat, in the presence of Université Côte d'Azur President Pr. Jeanick Brisswalter, and the President of the Institute's Board, Mr. Michel Manago, that Bureau Veritas Nice, represented by Mr. Emmanuel Denis, officially presented the Institute with its ISO 9001 certificate, version 2015.

An unwavering commitment to quality.

In 2021, under the impetus of Jean-Christophe Boisse, then Director of the IUT, a "Quality" unit was created.
The unit is made up of Patricia Dejouy, the Director's quality advisor, a teacher in the QLIO department and an active member of the AFQP (Association France Qualité Performance), Loïc David, head of the statistics, software applications & quality department, and Laure Estrada Melo, a student on the BUT QA program.tudiant en BUT QLIO, the unit's mission was to roll out a quality management system, meeting the strategic and operational objectives of continuous improvement of services and the excellence of the Institute's training courses.

Subsequently, the quality "pilots" from general services, the Quality, Industrial Logistics & Organization teaching department and management - the first scope of ISO 9001 : 2015 - enthusiastically and energetically embarked on the quality approach, defining their process sheets, delving into their indicators, refining their procedures and sharing their ideas for improvement and their questions during stimulating and benevolent quality mornings organized by the cell trio.

Athletic preparation for success!

Internal mock audits, followed by a mock audit carried out on February 13 and 14, 2023 by Aurélie Martin, Quality Manager at the IUT de Strasbourg (ISO 9001 certified) and Frédéric Canard, senior lecturer in the QLIO department, were used to train the IUT's quality pilots for certification.
The audit by Bureau Veritas took place in 3 stages: on May 31, 2023 for management and the quality team, on June 26 for general services and on June 27 for the QLIO department.

September 21, 2023 marked the end of the suspense, with confirmation of ISO 9001:2015 certification for all the Institute's general services and QLIO teaching department.

The story continues.

This initial success will certainly provide an opportunity for the 9 other IUT teaching departments to gradually integrate into the certification perimeter, in order to continue to develop, innovate and build the Institute's future together.
