Université Côte d'Azur appears for the first time in the THE Impact 2024 ranking published on June 12 by Times Higher Education. This ranking is based on the UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which came into force on January 1, 2016, and presents the institutions working hardest in this direction.

33 French establishments appear in the THE Impact ranking 2024. This is 11 more than in 2023, on a broader perimeter, as THE also ranks establishments above rank 1500.

Université Côte d'Azur makes its debut in 2024 with a world ranking of 601-700 (out of 1963 institutions ranked), and appears in all the proposed SDGs. Of particular note is the University's very good result on SDG 17 (partnerships to achieve the goals), ranking in the 200-301 bracket worldwide out of 2031 institutions, and in the 8-10 bracket nationally out of 34 French institutions ranked.

A total of 1963 universities worldwide are included in this sixth edition, compared with 1,591 in 2022, four times more than in 2019. The global top 3 in the overall ranking is made up of Western Sydney University (Australia), the University of Manchester (UK) and the University of Tasmania (Australia).
