On March 6, 2025, Université Côte d'Azur signed the 2024 - 2027 departmental plan to combat violence against women. In particular, it is a partner in two actions linked to the training of local players on the issue of violence.
The departmental plan to combat violence against women has been signed by 64 institutional partners, associations, companies and local authorities.
Despite the resources already deployed, the Alpes-Maritimes department remains particularly concerned by violence against women, ranking 6th among the most affected departments.

Against this backdrop, the departmental plan and the work carried out by Université Côte d'Azur over the last few years take on their full meaning.
The plan is based on 4 axes and includes over 100 actions deployed throughout the region:
Area 1: Raising awareness and creating a shared culture
Area 2: Improving the path taken by victims, their children and perpetrators of violence
Area 3: Improving accommodation and housing for women victims and perpetrators of violence
